Case Study Presentation at Design 4 Drupal, MIT

I'm back from "Design for Drupal v 2.0" at MIT.  Wonderful conference, visited by such luminaries as Jeff Robbins (Lullabot), Ben Finklea (Volacci), and an ASTOUNDINGLY fun keynote by Jared Spool,  "What Makes a Design Seem Intuitive?" Read more »

Buckminster Fuller's Drupal Site

I just wanted to shout out that the Buckminster Fuller Institute uses Drupal, and you can read the entire Operations Manual for Spaceship Earth there: http://www.bfi.org/about-bucky/resources/books/operating-manual-spaceship-earth

Don't Trust eSchoolNews.com

This may be obvious, but I'll say it anyway.

I just looked through the "Special Report" of the January issue of eSchoolNews, and even though I am a proponent of technology integration, I felt disgust at the industrial pandering and begged questions. Example: Read more »

Dries' Vision for Drupal - a School Restructuring Model?

Thinking about my work with schools in transition, I keep coming back to the keynote Dries gave at Drupalcon DC. The idea that new technologies enable new ways of working that make bureaucracy obsolete is an old story in the software world, but public schools are just getting wind of it. Read more »
